JJ Fish & Chicken in Greenbriar delivered an amazing experience from the moment I walked through the door. Jasmine greeted every customer with a warm smile and a friendly welcome, creating a positive atmosphere right away. She was professional, courteous, and genuinely kind while taking my order. The food and frozen lemonade were absolutely delicious, but Jasmine’s exceptional customer service is what truly made this visit memorable. She is the reason I will continue coming back for the fish sandwiches. Great job, Jasmine!

Had never had zucchini fries or heard of this place. There's not a spot where I live. Good thing because I might be there weekly for those fries. I was salivating eating them they were so good. Got the fish and shrimp, and that was good too. Cheap spot with good portions. Will definitely be a go to spot when I come back to this area.

The fries are delicious, crispy, and hot. The red snapper was thick, crunchy, hot, but a little dry. Overall it's good. I would definitely come back 9/10. If you're in the area and want a hole in the wall with a great home cooked feel and taste, come and try em out. You won't be disappointed

Love love love this spot . The okra bites with seasoning to love for . Wings , chicken gizzards , fried whiting is ok ,fries 10 out of 10, all slushies . Not the home made cakes . So good .went back the next day for lunch again.

Absolutely delicious and a taste of Chicago. The breading spice mix cannot be beat. I had the perch and shrimp (yummy). My Dad had catfish and shrimp. The catfish was the star. I also liked the mild sauce. The environment around the store was...interesting...;)

I recently visited JJ Fish & Chicken, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Their fried fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfectly seasoned without being too greasy. The chicken wings were cooked just right crispy, juicy, and coated with their signature lemon pepper seasoning.Also ask for Alex the store front manager he will take care of all your catering needs. Large orders are welcome for any event you maybe hosting.

AMAZING chicken strips, Great fish options awesome selection of everything fried, the cakes are tempting although a bit overpriced! That special white spice they shake on everything is very tasty! They have slushies for summer and generally fast and correct order completion! The only bad thing I can pinpoint is their coleslaw is the size of 2 tablespoons, it's so much more valuable to get double fries for same price.. coleslaw is good but the plate needs x5 more in the portion!

I visited on 4-16-2026. It's been a minute since I've been here. I got the fish combo or the pick two combo. I got the 3 piece perch fish and 3 piece whiting fish with fries and 2 slices of bread and a can soda for $14.03 plenty of ketchup, tartar sauce and hot sauce. The customer service is great. They have a system to get you in and out with your order. Food is delicious. Pull up and check them out definitely worth the trip not a disappointment.

I went to this place before the new year came in and I really enjoyed it! Prices are not bad for the amount of food you get! At this time I went they were kinda busy, but they took care of everyone who came in. They took awhile with my food, but I didn’t mind the wait because what I had turned out great! I love the fact that it’s originally from the CHI, and anything up north inspired etc.. I love to support since I’m from Philly. It reminds me of a spot in Philly that everyone use to go to. Other than that, this place is awesome and I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. God bless y’all🙏🏾❤️✝️
