I absolutely love coming to this location rather than the location on hampton road the food was AMAZING and the customer service was top notch, I spent about $14-15 for 2 items of my choice and sides !! I had a server Jeniah and man!!!! she has some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time at JJ’s Fish & Chicken. From the moment you walk in, she makes everyone feel welcomed with her positive attitude and jokes with customers, which creates a really friendly atmosphere. She’s also very attentive and always willing to help, especially with elderly customers or people who need a little extra help!!! You can tell she really cares about the people coming in! who doesn’t love that Lol😂 employees like Jeniah are the reason people keep coming back. She is a huge asset to JJ’s Fish & Chicken! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!

I ordered my food online very easily and drove up to the drive thru. The location looks very clean and the parking lot can be challenging. The food was excellent and I tried the fish and wing combo. The breading has a hint of sweetness to it.The fries were hot and seasoned well.

First time eating JJs. I've heard so many good things about the restaurant so I had to pay them a visit. The restaurant was nice and clean. The food came out piping hot. It has a decent flavor. The hush puppies were my favorite. I wish my fish and chicken were fried a little harder but the overall taste was pretty good. I would definitely return.

From the beginning, I heard mixed opinions about this spot — some people swore it was great, others said it wasn’t worth it, so I decided to see for myself. When I first arrived, the atmosphere stood out immediately. It definitely has more of a “hood spot” vibe than a fine dining one, so if you’re looking for a high-quality date night restaurant, this isn’t it. But that doesn’t mean the food isn’t worth it — if you just want to chill, relax, or grab something flavorful outside of your normal routine, this is the kind of place to try. The restaurant itself is small and was packed when I came in, so I chose to order my food to-go. Since it was my first visit, one of the associates was very helpful and walked me through the menu to find something that suited me. I ended up ordering the wing and tender combo, the tilapia and wing combo, lemonade, and two desserts — the banana pudding and the key lime red velvet cake. Now, I’ll say this upfront: skip the desserts. They were not good, and I later learned they aren’t made in-house — they’re outsourced from another company. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ll want to grab dessert elsewhere. The food itself, though, was impressive. The wings and fish were crispy, flavorful, and satisfying without being overly greasy. It gave me that comforting “home-cooked” feel without the effort of actually cooking. The lemonade was also really good — even though it didn’t taste freshly squeezed, it had a nice flavor and you can even choose different add-in flavors depending on what you’re in the mood for. Overall, the food definitely hit the spot for me. I wouldn’t recommend dining in just because of how small and crowded the space can get, but for takeout or a laid-back meal, this is a must-try.

My fried whiting is impeccable... That famous JJ seasoning is like crack.. 🤣 French fries on point. No lines at all. Food is hot and fresh straight out the kitchen. People behind the counter were excellent. Location is in the hood but at the same time some of the best damn food is found in the hood. Most definitely coming back to this location.

This is by far the best location when it comes to customer service and cleanliness. The staff is always upbeat, welcoming, and never make you feel like an inconvenience as a customer. I actually drive past two other locations just to come here because the experience is consistently that good. Shout out to Mr. M and Mr. C — you both are always on top of things! Thank you for consistently providing top-notch customer service. It truly means a lot and does not go unnoticed.

I'm never disappointed! Every plate taste as good as the last. This time I ordered the Large 3 piece Talapia Dinner with onion rings and hush puppies and the coleslaw comes with the meal. I also ordered a Strawberry kiwi lemonade and it is very delicious! I want to say thank you for all that you do and for having such fresh quality um um good want to slap your mama food! My favorite place to eat. Thank you 😊

I visited on 4-16-2026. It's been a minute since I've been here. I got the fish combo or the pick two combo. I got the 3 piece perch fish and 3 piece whiting fish with fries and 2 slices of bread and a can soda for $14.03 plenty of ketchup, tartar sauce and hot sauce. The customer service is great. They have a system to get you in and out with your order. Food is delicious. Pull up and check them out definitely worth the trip not a disappointment.

Service was Excellent! Establishment was clean. 1pc. Catfish and 10 pc. Shrimp, lightly breaded and perfectly fried! My meal came with fries, slaw, 2 pcs. bread and a drink for $12.99. Huge portions! If I had to find something wrong, the music was a little loud for me. I would go back! GOD bless y'all!
