Ooh baby now let me tell you.. this is one of my places for comfort food! Please order the number one, at least once not really a fan of coleslaw, so I always substitute for corn nuggets which is only an additional $1.49.. unique seasoning.. I order it LITE, The Breading is Crispy Crunch and slightly Sweet.. this plate is under $20, portions are always heavy! And a canned soda is included I'm not into soda? They have flavorful lemonade that will rock your socks✨🤌🏽Chef kiss.. ain't you tired of fast food? Why not order real food..

My dad and I grabbed dinner at this location. We called the order in, 2 six piece wing plates, one with french fries and one with fried okra. They said 10-15 minutes, i came in 15 minutes. When I arrived, I gave my number for the pick up and had to wait on my food still. 😩 I get that most companies now await your arrival before fixing your food, but why even take orders over the phone then?? So that was a meh 🫤for me. On the other hand, that food was very delicious. The chicken was well seasoned, and the french fries. My dad said the okra was ok, some were cooked well, and others were still mushy. Definitely will go again.

My friend had brought some tilapia over from JJ one night and I’ve been hooked ever since😍 Tonight I had a craving for some fried fish and decided to try their whiting! I can't really complain (I do prefer the tilapia though). Thank ya'll for your fried mushrooms 😍😍😍😍😍 those were on point! That 2 oz mild sauce though 👎🏾 that was my own greedy fault. The hot sauce that comes with the fried fish is so good with my lil fish sandwiches. I fooled myself into believing that I was going to get 2 oz of that same sauce (knowing it said mild) 🤦🏾‍♀️ Ordered the fried chicken and fries for my daughter. The fries were yummy and the chicken looked delicious. Will definitely be coming back when I want some fried fish!

This JJ Fish & Chicken Resturant dining area is always clean and neat. The Cashiers always welcome me in. The food is very deliciously good! The deserts are very good as well! I really like the service that's offered. There is never loud noise from the cooking area. You can dine-in and enjoy a quiet meal. Parking is available.

I visited on 4-16-2026. It's been a minute since I've been here. I got the fish combo or the pick two combo. I got the 3 piece perch fish and 3 piece whiting fish with fries and 2 slices of bread and a can soda for $14.03 plenty of ketchup, tartar sauce and hot sauce. The customer service is great. They have a system to get you in and out with your order. Food is delicious. Pull up and check them out definitely worth the trip not a disappointment.

The fries are delicious, crispy, and hot. The red snapper was thick, crunchy, hot, but a little dry. Overall it's good. I would definitely come back 9/10. If you're in the area and want a hole in the wall with a great home cooked feel and taste, come and try em out. You won't be disappointed

My fried whiting is impeccable... That famous JJ seasoning is like crack.. 🤣 French fries on point. No lines at all. Food is hot and fresh straight out the kitchen. People behind the counter were excellent. Location is in the hood but at the same time some of the best damn food is found in the hood. Most definitely coming back to this location.

This "hood joint" produces its expected product... the BEST FRIED fish/chicken! We drove back into the hood to satisfy the desire for well fried fish and chicken. They did not disappoint. Seasoned right. Fried right. Served right HOT in the spot. I had the Trout and Oysters meal and my husband had the Trout and Founder meal with a side of 1/2 chicken fried... right!

I absolutely love coming to this location rather than the location on hampton road the food was AMAZING and the customer service was top notch, I spent about $14-15 for 2 items of my choice and sides !! I had a server Jeniah and man!!!! she has some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time at JJ’s Fish & Chicken. From the moment you walk in, she makes everyone feel welcomed with her positive attitude and jokes with customers, which creates a really friendly atmosphere. She’s also very attentive and always willing to help, especially with elderly customers or people who need a little extra help!!! You can tell she really cares about the people coming in! who doesn’t love that Lol😂 employees like Jeniah are the reason people keep coming back. She is a huge asset to JJ’s Fish & Chicken! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!
